Ötzi Bike Academy
Are you interested in a guided bike tour? As we are a partner company of the Ötzi Bike Academy, our guests have the opportunity to take part in various mountain bike and e-bike tours through Merano and the Val Venosta valley, as well as courses and riding technique training with certified bike guides. If you don’t have your own bike, you can easily reserve it at the Bike Academy and have it delivered to our hotel. You are also welcome to book your desired bike at our reception.

The Cycle Path of the Venosta Valley
Lush green meadows, sparse forests and tranquil villages cross your path from Parcines up to Resia. A predominantly tarmac cycle route takes you along the Adige river through the diverse landscape of the Val Venosta valley. Thanks to the well-developed Val Venosta railway line, any desired section of the route can also be done by train.
The Ötzi Bike Trail
Countless freeriders have lost their hearts to the adventurous trail, others are still looking forward to this top-class challenge… you can take the train to Naturno and on to the Merano Bike Highline. Around 19 kilometres of pure riding fun await you from the Marzoner Alm to the Lago Nero on the Ötzi Bike Trail on the Monte San Vigilio.
Monte San Vigilio
Biking on the Monte San Vigilio means biking with spectacular views. Whether you’re a pleasure cyclist or an ambitious mountain biker, cycling fans can really let off steam on the sunny high plateau and find the peak of pleasure on two wheels. If desired, the route from Rablà to Rio Lagundo can even be covered by cable car.
